I found on page 47 of my 2003 Arkansas AAA TourBook the following destination. Apparently, in Fort Smith, AK you can visit and I quote
“MISS LAURA’S VISITORS CENTER
“2 N. B St., was a turn-of-the-20th-century brothel, which eventually became one of the most celebrated bordellos in the Southwest. Laura Ziegler owned the establishment, which now is furnished in period. Transoms show the names of girls who worked here. Allow 30 minutes minimum. Guide 30-minute tours of the house are offered as necessary.”30-minutes tours offered as necessary. Hmm. What if only three minutes are necessary? Is this one-of-those interactive museums? One of those hands-on experiences?
