More-on Advertisements
I just saw on television an advertisement for birth control for women. No, it was not a headache nor was it based on the Patriot anti-missile defense system. But it did come with about a minute of warnings including my favorite:
“. . . (Birth-control device) . . . should not be used by pregnant women.”
Whoa! Slow down here so that I might absorb this new knowledge.
I took Economics in college and grad-school, so my grasp of biology is perhaps not as extensive as other people’s but isn’t impossible to get pregnant while being pregnant. Indeed as far as I know pregnancy is the best anti-pregnancy device, measure, or system of them all.
Um, and if you wanted to avoid pregnancy, would it have been better to have used this product before pregnancy? Well, that’s all I know. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some simultaneous equations that need solving.
