Poetry Day - Obama
My younger son wanted meto write about deserts
Or desserts.
But I couldn’t find my dictionary.
I didn’t know if I would be
versifying about sweets to eat
or a place without rain.
So, he said write about Obama.
Barack Obama, no doubt about it
Has a lot of “a”s in his name.
Way cool,
Don’t you think?
He just visited Ghana in Africa.
Bringing messages of
Hope and democracy.
And his name with four “a”s.
Ghana has two “a”s
That’s a good start for foreign policy.
Now, I want him to visit
Guadalajara.
